Amanda sighed.

Brandon took her hand. “But
we
can't rest peacefully—can we, Amanda?” He leaned closer, and his eyes glowed bright green. Such an evil, unnatural green.

“No. We can't rest,” Amanda agreed, squeezing his hand. She pulled herself up. And stared back at him, her eyes glowing green, as bright and evil as his.
